Valorant announces all teams competing in VCT 2023 – Effinate Games

Valorant Esports has just confirmed that all the teams are part of the Valorant Champions Tour 2023

Valorant Champions Tour 2022 in Istanbul has just concluded with LOUD victory against OpTic Gaming in the finals. A prize pool of US$1,000,000 was distributed among the winning teams. Now supporters expect the new era of Valorant Champions Tour and all the teams to compete against each other.

In 2023, Riot will introduce three new VALORANT international leagues with ten partner teams each. These leagues will represent the highest level of play in the VCT. Earlier this year, Valorant Esports began a rigorous screening process to select the league partners.

Riot has just selected the 30 teams that will join to help build the next chapter of Valorant Esport and offer incredible fan experiences. The decision of these organizations was based on three factors – organizations that share the principles of putting fans first, valuing diverse communities and being dedicated to helping professionals, and organizations that have forged a close bond with their supporters through the use of engaging content, an appealing brand and exciting list, and long-term organizations with an emphasis on sustainability.

In the meantime, here are the teams confirmed to be part of the VALORANT International Leagues:

  • Sentinels
  • 100 thieves
  • Sky9

Given the sheer number of organizations that have applied to partner with Riot for VCT 2023, it’s inevitable that some prominent teams won’t make the cut. However, Valorant will run over 20 different Challenger leagues across the globe. These leagues will provide a platform for local teams to compete for the opportunity to represent their region in the new Ascension tournaments.
