Ubisoft Forward announces titles for September Showcase – Effinate Games

Ubisoft has officially confirmed which games fans can expect from an upcoming Ubisoft Forward live stream. You’ll be able to check it out on Ubisoft’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as a dedicated website on September 10th. The show begins at noon Pacific time, including announcements Skull and bones, Mario+Rabbids: Sparks of Hopeand Assassin’s Creed.

You can watch the full trailer for the new Ubisoft Forward on Ubisoft’s official Twitter feed here:

The trailer promises “exclusive content and news,” meaning the games listed in the teaser likely won’t be the only announcements coming during the live stream. A civil servant blog post adds it Brawlhalla, For Honor, The Crew 2, and Year 1800 will also appear. Many fans are hoping for more Far Cry and The division news.

However, it is clear that the highlight is the promise of one Assassin’s Creed display window. Until now, the only word from Ubisoft was that they would “tell you more” later. Assassin’s Creed has had a lot of problems with leaks lately, forcing the hand of the creators to reveal Mirage title ahead of time.

It seems that Ubisoft is aiming to be at least one step ahead of future leaks. They tend to be very hands on with rumors and leaks, such as denying all rumors of making a Blade game, which had fans of the cartoon icon divided.

Assassin’s Creed is something of a flagship series for Ubisoft, leaning on crossovers with various titles such as Autumn guysand Valhalla’s DLC has continued to give the Viking game huge legs.

Fans who watch long enough on Twitch will get some drop rewards, including cosmetics for four different games: Skull and Bones, Rainbow Six Siege, Roller Champions, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s an unimpressive but free incentive.
