Two Crash Bandicoot Games Allegedly in Development – Effinate Games

The first Crash Bandicoot game dates back to 1996 by Naughty Dog. The casual nature of the game with its goofy protagonist Crash attracted a large number of players. It gradually expanded into the classic franchise that it is now.

The last few entries in the franchise include Crash 4 and Crash Team Racing, both of which were well received by fans. A new multiplayer game called Wumpa League was already rumored to be in development. But now it looks like there are 2 Crash games in development.

Two new Crash Bandicoot games

According to a leaker on Twitter, TheRealInsider, who has had a good track record for leaks, stated that 2 Crash games are in development. Someone mentioned the insider on Twitter to talk about the Wumpa League, to which he responded with this:

What could the new Crash Games be?

Crash Bandicoot: Wumpa League

Despite the fact that there are supposedly 2 games, we already know that one of them is Wumpa League, as leaked months ago. Based on a roadmap leaked last year, the Wumpa League was scheduled for last year, although it was delayed indefinitely. So for the general public it is still a secret as there was no official announcement either.

But based on the leaked information, the game seemed like a multiplayer shooter that could even be a battle royale of sorts. While there were rumors that the game was shelved, recently leaked artwork suggested that the game lives on.

Crash 5

Although there is no solid information about this, but the other alleged game in Crash 5. It also makes some sense as Crash 4 did pretty well too. If we take a rough guess, it will also be developed by Toys for Bob. They’ve done a great job with the last and remastering Spyro games, making them a natural choice.

According to a 4chan leak, the game has been titled ‘Project Globe‘. It will reportedly retain the gameplay elements from Crash 4 and integrate new characters, artwork, and the overall environment. And we’re not complaining because Crash 4 was actually really good.

That’s all the information we have right now. We can’t really guess the release frame for either title. But considering that Crash Wumpa League was supposed to come out last year, it might finally come out next year. As for Crash 5, there is literally no information. We’ll make sure to keep an eye out for new stuff, so stay tuned.
