With the FIFA World Cup on Sunday, Zynga and Nordeus have introduced a new limited-time game mode for their popular management sim Top Eleven. It’s called Penalty Clash and will be available from today until November 28th.
Penalty Clash is an in-game tournament where you choose to represent one of the 32 nations competing in this year’s World Cup tournament. As the name suggests, it is a penalty kick based challenge and those who successfully hold their nerve will get some rewards.
At the start of the competition you will have an entry level goalkeeper and shooter. Each match takes place in one of the game’s World Championship arenas. The mode also has different difficulty levels ranging from easy to expert.
While representing your chosen country, you collect medals. The aim is to gather as many as possible to be selected for the elite national team, which will include the 1000 best players from the various countries.
Marko Jevtic, Top Eleven Game Lead, discussing Penalty Clash, said: “The Penalty Clash minigame brings players onto the field of a global tournament at the most exciting time of the year for soccer fans everywhere.”
“We can’t wait to celebrate that competitive spirit with our fans at Top Eleven as they test their skills in pressured penalty situations. See if you have what it takes to make football history!”
Top Eleven is now available in the App Store and Google Play. It’s a free game with in-app purchases. You can download it for your preferred mobile platform using the links below.
