The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch Port Rated by PEGI – Effinate Games

Last year, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition launched on almost every major platform except the Nintendo Switch. There were reports that Bethesda would potentially port the game to the Switch. The port seems to be happening very soon. The Switch already got a Vanilla Skyrim port that was pretty well received.

Is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition Coming to Nintendo Switch?

The Elder Scrolls V game has mixed reviews on Steam and is generally not rated as highly as the rest of the series. Nevertheless, the prospect of finally having a new Elder Scrolls ported to the Switch will no doubt interest fans of the series who generally liked the older Skyrim port.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition has been rated by PEGI, which rates games in the UK. The rating generally means that the game is close to launch, and if we go by all the dots, everything points to a Nintendo Direct in the near future.

Is there a Nintendo Direct happening soon?

It looks like a Nintendo Direct is indeed planned for this month. Earlier today, prominent leaker Snitch leaked on his discord server another game coming to Switch soon. He dropped the leak in the form of coded images that translate to It Takes Two.

A few days ago, game journalist, Jeff Grubb also predicted that a Nintendo Direct seems to be planned for September 2022. So Nintendo has two ports for the Switch, and to announce them officially, they’ll have to host a Direct event soon.

But of course, take this information with a grain of salt as nothing has been officially announced by Nintendo. If a Nintendo Direct is indeed happening soon, we expect it to be announced sooner or later.
