Suikoden 1 and 2 HD remaster gets first direct comparison between original – Effinate Games

Konami shared the first comparison image for the newly announced Suikoden and Suikoden II HD remaster.

While showing footage of the new remaster at the Tokyo Game Show, the developer shared a direct side-by-side comparison of some of the games most iconic scenes:

Above, you can see the original game in its standard definition format on the left, while the new HD remaster is on the right. It’s worth noting that Konami said the remaster’s backgrounds are “upgraded to HD,” but the above screens certainly look more than a simple upgrade.
