Skull and Bones is an upcoming open-world multiplayer action-adventure title developed by Ubisoft Singapore and published by Ubisoft. The title was announced in 2017, but we’re finally getting our hands on it this year. It’s certainly been a long time coming, and so far the footage has shown some naval combat, exploration, and the various PvP and PvE modes available. With the title up for pre-order, further details have also been revealed. Here are the official skull and bone system requirements.
To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.
Ubisoft has been releasing these detailed requirements for some time now, and it’s one of the better ways to set expectations for interested PC gamers. If you’re targeting 1440p and want to crank up the settings to the Ultra preset, you’ll need a Ryzen 5 5600X paired with an RTX 3070 with 8GB of VRAM.
This is a reasonably demanding title, especially at this resolution, but at 1080p you’ll be fine with an RTX 2070. If you want to go further and target 4K, you’ll need a fairly powerful GPU like the RTX 3080 with DLSS enabled and a Ryzen 5 5600X. The addition of DLSS and FSR is always welcome and allows gamers with budget GPUs to target higher resolutions with minimal loss of visual quality.
In addition to these, you need 65 GB of free space and 16 GB of RAM. We strongly recommend that PC users upgrade to 16GB and consider moving to SSDs to ensure modern titles run smoothly. The SSD is a requirement across all presets.
Ubisoft released a trailer showing off all the features the upcoming title has.
