There’s no better way to find out about a triple-A secret project than to run into a job posting about it. Such a list was released by PlayStation and offered details of a “high-profile project” in the works that will involve Last of Us development studio Naughty Dog. Sony appears to be building a new development team that will work on a triple-A game that is currently being kept under wraps. In their own words, “Sony PlayStation is building a new in-house game development team in partnership with PSS Visual Arts.”
The job posting reads as follows “Although currently unannounced, we have a clear vision and plan to release. (…) As the ideal candidate, you will be proficient in all aspects of AAA game production and management.” While Sony isn’t explicitly saying that the mystery project will be a triple-A game, they seem to need the resources for one. The statements about “clear vision and plan for release” make this project sound like it’s set in stone.

With the latest installment in The Last of Us series being released recently, we can either assume that this could be a new Uncharted title or something else entirely. It’s been five years since the release of the last Uncharted, The Lost Legacy. Assuming that this job posting might have something to do with this very successful and popular series shouldn’t be a huge stretch.
Another interesting tidbit that readers could glean from this job posting is that PSS Visual Arts may be working on becoming a fully fledged solo developer studio. As we know, PSS Visual Arts has mostly worked as a supporting role for many popular studios, so this developer hunt could be the start of something new.
