Publisher Electronic Arts and developer BioWare announced Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has completed its alpha development build.
The new update has BioWare general manager Gary McKay noted the milestone means Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is now finally playable from start to finish, so the team will now focus on honing and polishing the experience towards its Gold Champion status – and then shipping it.
“Hitting Alpha was the culmination of so much effort from the entire team, and we used this milestone as an opportunity to come together and celebrate,” said McKay. “We held a hybrid-style event with people on-site, while others joined remotely, and the team showed their work to everyone at BioWare.”
We’ve known about the next Dragon Age game for several years now – considering it only just got an official title in June and it’s now hitting alpha, we might see it ship later in 2023.
