Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta complaints from players include lobbies disbanding and awful UI – Effinate Games

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s beta has just started its first weekend, and the reception from players has had its ups and downs. While most fans agree that this will be a great sequel for the new generation, there are complaints that range from unbearable to slightly annoying. Based on the conversations going on online, let’s address players’ complaints about the lobby’s resolution, terrible UI, and audio spikes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s beta.

Let’s start with the good first. Fans have praised the beautiful look, the solid accidental mechanics of the first Modern Warfare, and the ability to choose between killstreaks or score streaks.

That’s all well and good, but there are some fair complaints that need to be addressed by the developers. The most popular criticism is the added mechanic that dissolves lobbies when the match is over. This mechanic makes it harder for most players to form friendships and share a fun experience for a long time together.

The second most popular complaint is the hidden death count for players until the end of the round. You can’t even see your own deaths in this beta and many people don’t agree with this addition. Some have suggested adding an option so players can see a traditional leaderboard with deaths.

The last major complaint that fans have with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the user interface. While this can be considered a subjective opinion, many players agree that the UI of this sequel is poor. Not only from a visual design perspective, but also from a lack of simplicity in the menus. Call of Duty fans seem to think the UI is overcomplicated and “mobile gamey”.

Because this is a beta, there is always a chance that the developers will take these complaints into consideration for the final release.
